The Chilli Lounge Gouves Crete ..new for summer 2010

Well , after an amazing journey , I made it through my first season , with lots of love help and support from so many friends and family.It was a epic journey but one I will never forget. I wish to Thank all of you who joined us at the chilli lounge , on our opening launch night, which was an amazing sucess. We have build up a huge base of wonderful clients, from all walks of life, and introduced many new people to the beautiful, and tempting dishes from our menus. I have seen many customers return, and some coming from as far as Chania , and Ag Nic to get there curry fix . Firm bonds and friendships have been made , and to all of you, I wish to Thank You very much for choosing The Chilli Lounge as your chosen Restaurant .
I am in the process now, of re - enventing new dishes, listening to feedback, and putting all of this into practice, to enhance and better the service you , require.
It has been amazing 1st season, with many highs and some lows. As with all of us, we have grappled with the recession and economic despair that has touched upon everyone.
We will be returning this season 2010 , as a full family , as my husband Raj will be now moving to Crete , along with both my Daughter Megan and Miah. I wish to thank them all for there patients in this years gruelling work load , and being seperated for long periods.
Megan , dancer her socks off, and entertained many happy guests , with her warm infectious smile , and beautiful bollywood moves. Miah was a sweetheart, who loved to meet and greet our loyal and new customers , from every country , of which she found a new experience.
Miah will be embarking on her own journey this year, as she will move out to crete , and start school in Gournes. She will also be taking intensive Greek Lessons , to help her intergrate with normal school life, creating and meeting new friends.
Moving to Crete , is a big move, but I can honestly say , that , no grass is ever greener on the other side, I feel life is what we make of it, and I can make a better and safer life for my family, in the beautiful surrounding of Crete.
Yes there are fors and against...the schooling system , health care, and very different ways of life, but I have not come to Crete to change Cretes lifestyle, but melt into there way of life, as I fell its a better one for me.
So to close , I want to Than all the local friends I have made in Gouves, and who have supported me aand The Chilli Lounge in the 1st yr.
I am always open to any new suggestions and ideas, critisim and feedback.I do take it very serious and have implemented many new feedback ideas , I recieved from my 1st season

Arrived

I have now arrived in Gouves, and I am set to pick up the container from Iraklio port tomorrow.We are currently work very hard, to make the changes to the restaurant. Lots to do!!!Rebecca

Baby & Child friendly /facilities

We would like to Welcome all our younger members to The Chilli Lounge.
We can accomodate babies and children, we have a fantastic child friendly play equipment, toys, dressing up box, anda soft safe area.We have thought of all your babies and child's needs, and have items including, bibs, child cups, fun and character plates for dining, knives and forks , especially for our younger customers.
For bathroom facilities, we have potties, wet wipes, special adaptable child toilet seats and step to enable children to reach the toilet.
We will help with any requests you may have , so please dont hesitate to ask us.We wish all children to be safe, so all the equipment is tested to health & safety U.K standards.
The child play area, must be supervised at all time,by a parent, as we dont not accept liability for the childs welfare.

The New Chilli Lounge Indian Restaurant has access for wheelchair users. We wish to facilitate in any way possible for our disabled guests, so please do not hesitate to contact us , with any special requirements
